Black Children’s Book Week '23 will take place from February 26th - March 4th. The Week is a global celebration of Black children and their representation in children's books and other media.
Black Children's Book Week was founded by Veronica N. Chapman, a children's book author and entrepreneur. Veronica has a track record of designing creative services and products that affirm and inspire Black children. She is the founder of Boxxout Enterprises, where she designs creative solutions for social change like Black Baby Books, a platform that makes it easier to discover children's books with Black characters.
Black Children's Book Week is administered by Black Baby Books, and starts every year on the last Sunday in February.
